Here at adore we think it is wonderful that so many are interested in the field of events.  We therefore do accept interns from time to time to get others acquainted with what being an event planner is all about.  Most think it is a very “glamourous” job.  Don’t get us wrong there are some tremendous rewards, however many find that it is not all the glitz that they thought and decide to choose another path once they’ve gotten a taste. 

As an intern you will not only see the basics in event planning, but more importantly how to market a business, customer service, how to make and keep clients, choosing vendors, design tools, etc.

Please keep in mind that internships are unpaid positions. 

Scheduling is made on a per person basis. However, we do expect that if you make the commitment you show up for the hours and days you committed to.  You are using our time to further your own career.

Internships can lead to possible commission based or “independent contractor” positions.
